Elizabeth House – BBQ Reunion
Celebrating Recovery!
Open since November 2021, Elizabeth House have already welcomed many clients to our Second Phase Rehab Service in Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire. Jonathan Shone, the Project Manager at Elizabeth House and his team wanted to organise an event where clients and their loved ones could come together and celebrate their own successes. A journey to recovery isn’t an easy one and living life free from addiction is definitely something to be proud of!
Coming together offered opportunities for others to share their own stories giving hope to those who may be struggling.
The project team and the former clients prepared a fantastic BBQ, including handmade beef burgers, delicious buffet style foods and home baked cakes and flapjacks! (Which went down a treat!)
All in all Elizabeth Houses 1st BBQ reunion was a great success. Seeing our beautiful former clients come together and reinforcing those common bonds, developing new friendships and of course the celebration of all those on their journey to recovery! We love our Steps Together family and it just keeps growing. Great work by all!
