Mental Health Support
Mental Health Support
At Steps Together Group, we provide personalised mental health treatment in a safe, confidential, and clinically supported environment. Our care is led by Consultant Psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team, focusing on assessment, stabilisation, and long-term psychological wellbeing.
Understanding Mental Health
Mental health challenges can affect anyone, often developing gradually or emerging during periods of stress, change, or underlying vulnerability.
They may present as low mood, anxiety, overwhelm, difficulty coping, changes in behaviour, or a sense of losing emotional balance. In some cases, symptoms may indicate an underlying diagnosed mental health condition requiring structured clinical support.
Seeking support early can make a significant difference to recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Our Mental Health Outpatient Services
Our Specialist Mental Health Outpatient Services at Steps Together provide assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing low-level poor mental health, as well as those living with diagnosed and enduring mental health conditions.
- Experiencing emerging symptoms of mental health conditions
- Struggling with low mood, anxiety, or emotional distress
- Living with a diagnosed mental health disorder requiring ongoing support
- Experiencing neurodivergent-related challenges such as ADHD impacting focus, emotional regulation, or daily functioning
Our focus is on early identification, accurate assessment, and structured therapeutic support delivered on an outpatient basis.

Treatment Pathways
Our mental health services are delivered primarily on an outpatient basis, allowing individuals to receive structured support while continuing daily life. All pathways are determined following clinicalassessment.
◌ Outpatient
Outpatient Mental Health Support
Standard pathway for anxiety, depression, ADHD-related challenges, emotional distress, and diagnosed mental health conditions requiring ongoing support.
◌ Residential
Residential Treatment
Residential care is not part of standalone mental health treatment. It is only recommended where addiction is the primary presenting issue requiring detoxification or 24/7 clinical stabilisation.
Addiction-related care only — assessed and recommended by the clinical team where appropriate.
◌ Inpatient Programme
Inpatient Burnout & Stress Programme
For individuals experiencing severe burnout or emotional exhaustion, we offer a dedicated inpatient programme focused on recovery and restoration. This sits outside of standard mental health outpatient care.
Separate pathway — assessed independently from standard mental health treatment.
What to Expect
From the first point of contact, we aim to provide clarity and reassurance. Clients are supported at every stage, with a focus on safety, dignity, and long-term outcomes.
A confidential discussion to understand your needs, concerns, and goals. Our team listens carefully and helps determine the most appropriate next steps.
Early clinical screening and assessment conducted by a qualified mental health nurse practitioner, including medical screening, risk evaluation, and early identification of symptoms.
In-depth diagnostic evaluation with a Consultant Psychiatrist where appropriate, ensuring accurate diagnosis and a clear clinical picture before treatment begins.
Tailored treatment recommendations developed collaboratively with you, ensuring your care aligns with your needs, preferences, and clinical requirements.
Structured outpatient psychological care including individual therapy, group sessions where appropriate, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Regular monitoring, care plan adjustment, and free aftercare for both individuals and family members — supporting long-term stability and wellbeing.
