Hi, I’m Paul Robert Brown. I am passionate about recovery and believe all individuals deserve to be free from emotional and psychological pain and become who they wish to be. I have over 8 years professional and personal experience in the field of addiction. During this time I have secured numerous training, CPD, and have worked as a senior Substance Misuse Practitioner at Nottingham Recovery Network, and have supported a diverse range of clients with a whole array of mental health complexities.

I am a qualified BSc MBACP humanistic and integrative Psychotherapist trained at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am a developmentally informed, relationally focussed psychotherapist who believes as research suggests, that we are all, to some degree damaged in relationship, and that change and healing occurs within relationship. Therefore I offer my clients an authentic, open, and safe therapeutic alliance to nurture and foster a reparative relational experience.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to its ethical code of practice, and am currently working towards BACP accreditation.

I integrate a range of humanistic interventions and theories, including; gestalt, attachment theory, transpersonal, and existential threads to provide a unique, tailored approach to psychotherapy.
