Susan Kaye Weaver

I have been qualified as a Registered Mental Health nurse since 1986. Since qualifying I have worked in a wide variety of areas including Acute in patient services, Medium secure services, Mental Health Liaison in both adults and young people, community settings and Elderly services.

During this time I have supported many individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns for over 35 years. I also have a teaching qualification, Cert Ed in FE and spent 6 years teaching in Further Education.

Alongside my Equine Assisted Therapy role I currently work Part time as a CAMHS Specialist Practitioner in the community. I have been around horses since I was 7 years old and have always been passionate regarding them.

Equine Assisted Therapy has enabled me to combine my passions of helping others and being with horses together.
