Bringing a phone or laptop to Steps Together’s rehab centre can be a great way to stay in touch with family and friends while in treatment, but it is important to understand the guidelines of the facility before bringing your devices.

Our centres allow clients to bring their personal devices, such as cell phones and laptops, to help them stay connected with their loved ones and for entertainment purposes. However, there are some restrictions in place that should be followed.

Phones and laptops are typically only allowed to be used during certain times throughout the day, such as during downtime or before bedtime. They are usually prohibited from being used during groups and activities, as the staff wants to ensure that all clients are actively participating in the treatment programme. Additionally, game consoles are typically not permitted in our facilities.

It is important to keep in mind that our facilities have a “no tolerance” policy for devices that are used inappropriately. This could include using your device to access inappropriate websites or talking to people who could be a potential threat to your sobriety.

Please check each individual property page, and talk to our expert treatment advisors to understand more about the choice and availability of rooms at each property. Call 0330 175 7031 today.
