Aftercare

When you join Steps Together, you join a new recovery family and we want to ensure you stay well and we continue to walk alongside you on your journey. As part of your residential treatment programme, we include FREE aftercare for 12 months, to ensure you are properly settled at home and supported on your journey.

Your aftercare package is important to help you stay connected and well, so we offer:

  • A FREE telephone advice service – You may have days when you are really struggling, or simply want to just reconnect and say ‘Hi’ to your favourite team members. Day or night you can call direct your residential treatment centre and speak to the team.
  • A FREE weekly aftercare group session held at the treatment centre of your choice, or digitally via Teams or Zoom. This is a great way to keep connected you friends, your treatment centre and the team, whilst hearing, seeing and celebrating each other’s achievements in recovery and supporting each other to keep on track.
  • A FREE monthly family workshop – we believe it is essential that family members are able to access the support, space and time that they need in order to repair their lives, and for the focus to be solely on them at this stage and not their loved one. This is a perfect opportunity to help families develop their own network of support with other family members and have dedicated space and time to share their experiences in a safe and discreet environment, which can be accessed digitally.
