A well supported family, can make all the difference during recovery from addiction. This is never an easy journey for most addicts and their families, and sometimes the road can get bumpy.
Families and loved ones are often the forgotten victims in the battle against addiction; yet the very people who have lived and survived every day coping with the devastating consequences of this condition.
At Steps Together we believe it is essential that family members are able to access the support, space and time that they need in order to repair their lives, and for the focus to be solely on them at this stage and not their loved one. This is your time to share and feel the support from Steps Together!
Our FREE Family Workshops are designed to give you just that. A space where you can understand more about the illness of addiction, share your experiences, without judgement or fear, with others who have lived similar experiences to you. We will help you gain support and new coping skills from our expert range of qualified therapists that treat addiction.
Operating once a month, these groups provide you with the opportunity to meet other families who have faced the same stigma, embarrassment and shame that you have.
This is the perfect opportunity to help you develop your own network of support with other family members and have dedicated space and time to share your experiences in a safe and discreet environment.
