Addiction and poor mental health not only affects the individual struggling with it, but also their family members and loved ones. It can strain relationships, cause financial problems, and create a sense of helplessness and despair for all those involved. Elizabeth House Secondary Rehab recognises the importance of not just treating the individual, but also helping their families heal and rebuild together.

As part of our Secondary Care Programme we offer:

These workshops cover a range of topics such as communication skills, setting healthy boundaries, and coping mechanisms for dealing with the challenges of addiction. They also provide a safe and non-judgmental space for family members to share their experiences and connect with others who are going through similar struggles.

Family Therapy Service

Can I bring my phone or laptop?2024-01-12T11:06:58+00:00

Bringing a phone or laptop to Steps Together’s rehab centre can be a great way to stay in touch with family and friends while in treatment, but it is important to understand the guidelines of the facility before bringing your devices.

Our centres allow clients to bring their personal devices, such as cell phones and laptops, to help them stay connected with their loved ones and for entertainment purposes. However, there are some restrictions in place that should be followed.

Phones and laptops are typically only allowed to be used during certain times throughout the day, such as during downtime or before bedtime. They are usually prohibited from being used during groups and activities, as the staff wants to ensure that all clients are actively participating in the treatment programme. Additionally, game consoles are typically not permitted in our facilities.
