I stayed at Bank House for 28 days. I couldn’t believe that I ended up in a rehab setting, but after all, I was in complete denial about how alcohol had gripped and dominated my life. The welcome I received was compassionate, kind and non-judgemental. The setting was more like a ‘home’ and the people who worked and lived in it soon became my temporary family. The food was delicious and the house was homely. The therapy sessions, both group and individual were powerful and life changing. I owe a debt of gratitude to all at Bank House – the experience gave me my life back, as well as giving back a husband and father.
