Celebrating 85 years of the AA

“One day at a time”

Alcoholics Anonymous, celebrate their 85th birthday this June.

The AA was set up by Bill Wilson and Dr Robert Smith in 1935.

The AA is concerned about personal recovery and continued sobriety.

Their key is to focus on patience and persistence which they believe are necessary skills to have to combat addiction.

Their methodology consists of 12 steps and includes group therapy which has proved a successful model.
