Sharon Newland
I have a keen interest in how people hold onto and express trauma and how experiences of loss and trauma manifest in self-destructive behaviours. Much of my work addresses developmental trauma, complex loss, and delayed grieving, as this can be at the root of many presenting difficulties such as anxiety, depression, complex PTSD and addictions.
Therapy can help break the cycle of handling pain alone and also help you see yourself and your situation from a different perspective. It is also a vehicle for learning healthier coping strategies.
