Why Steps Together Rehab?
At StepsTogether Rehab, we believe that every patient is different, so we create rehabilitation programmes that are tailored to individual needs. This way, each patient receives the right combination of therapies for them.
With the guidance of our specialist staff, you or your loved one will learn the skills and tools needed to beat addiction and live a fulfilling life.
Our facilities have been designed with our patients’ needs in mind, and promote health and wellness. Alongside their therapy sessions, we also encourage our patients to take part in other activities, such as swimming and exercising at our gym.
We have created safe and comfortable spaces that allow patients to relax and recover in a tranquil environment. If you or your loved one will be travelling from Derby or the surrounding area, we offer clean and modern accommodation for our patients.
The addiction recovery process
The recovery process can start with a simple phone call, where a compassionate member of staff will be available to listen to you or your loved one without judgement. They will be able to provide advice and encouragement, and talk you through the next steps of the rehabilitation process.
1. INTERVENTION
If you are seeking help on behalf of a loved one, our specialist team will be able to set up a non-confrontational intervention to try and encourage them to seek professional help.
We understand that approaching a loved one about addiction can be difficult, but we are here to help. Through an intervention, we can show your loved one how their addiction is negatively affecting them and the people who care about them.
2. DETOX
After you or your loved one has made the decision to undergo addiction treatment with us, it will begin with a detox process. This is an essential step as it cleanses the body of drugs or alcohol, leaving patients ready to progress to the next stages of recovery.
Although there may be some discomfort during this short period, our expert staff will provide around the clock supervision to ensure the process goes safely and smoothly.
3. REHABILITATION
Once the detox is complete, patients can begin attending therapy sessions. We combine a number of effective therapies, organised into either one-to-one or group sessions, to give you or your loved one the chance to build a network of continued support.
Each session is led by a professional therapist or counsellor, who will ensure each meeting is a safe space for patients to share experiences, thoughts and feelings. There will also be focused sessions that aim to teach you or your loved one ways in which addiction can be controlled successfully.
SUCCESS STORIES FROM DERBY PATIENTS
At Bank House, our Nottingham facility, we treat many patients who have chosen to travel from Derby and the surrounding area. One of these patients, Gill G., speaks of their time at StepsTogether Rehab.
“The routine for groups/presentations is well structured to keep the mind active all day and spending time in the lounge with peers chatting about both issues and everyday things is therapeutic in itself.” They said of their time spent with us.
“Recreational activities such as walks, gym, swimming and bowling are encouraged, getting out for fresh air and exercise is always a benefit. The rooms are always kept clean and tidy and the food is tasty and substantial.”
“I will be leaving Bank House with a new strength and a confident attitude towards staying sober!”
